For the people who hate on “Here comes Honey Boo Boo” and her family.

1. They might not look “perfectly well put together” but so do millions of people.

2. They value their family time.

3. They teach each other good values.

4. Alana is probably the HAPPIEST most down to earth child, she plays outside, she isn’t body conscious, she loves her family, she isn’t GREEDY, she isn’t SPOILED, and for people who think “rednecks” are racist, well let me tell you what, she’s the furthest thing from it. Seeing her playing with her black barbie was the cutest thing ever.

5. She thinks it’s fine to be gay, in her words “everyone’s a little gay”

6. She’s SMART! she writes and she knows things like “umbilical cord”

I love The Honey Boo Boo clan, I wish all families had at least 50% of the love they have for each other.

Watched an episode today at work. Based on previews for this show I thought it was going to be a moving apocalypse heralding the final straw in the utter decline of our civilization, but they are a strangely enviable family, and they just don’t give a fuck what you think about them. 

I’m still not even completely sure what this honey boo boo is, I just keep hearing people talk about it.
