The Reach was collecting people with the meta-gene, last time I remembered Stephanie Brown wasn’t a meta-human. Or did I miss something? Also, if Stephanie Brown made a cameo, WHERE IS TOM LYLE’S CHECK!? The man created the girl, he deserves a little slice of that cake!
Last time I remembered Zatanna wasn’t around Dick Grayson’s age, but Bruce’s.
Last time I remembered that Artemis Crock was never Green Arrow’s crimefighting partner, but a villain.
Last time I remembered that Beast Boy didn’t get his abilities through a blood transfusion from Miss Martian.
Last time I remembered Conner and M’gann were never in a relationship.
Basically changes from comic to YJ shouldn’t surprise you. |D;;
Changing Zatanna’s age, Artemis’s affiliation, Beast Boy’s origin or a relationship isn’t quite the same as giving a character who originally had no abilities super powers. No shit they changed some things, the change I’m talking about would’ve been the equivalent to making Impulse someone who’s never had powers.
But as it was earlier explained to me today in a detail that I missed the Reach was collecting non-powered humans as well to see if they could implant the metagene into them. So she actually didn’t have superpowers (but we’ll probably never see her in a costume).
It’s, uh, still the same? Character change that would”ve deviate some way from comics canon.
But ok.
I would have to disagree on rating them all on the same level. Yes their changes but at least in my opinion the ones mentioned minor in comparison to what I thought happened. If I considered changes like that all the same I’d be fan raging at every little alteration.
But opinions and all that.

she has the metagene that they were looking for, which means she has the ability to handle superpowers, but doesn’t mean that she has them
